The West Kootenays stole my heart 10 years ago in my first weeks in Canada. This place is a playground for the active action-seekers, creative artists of all kinds and inspires healthy conscious living. I have has always been passionate about travel and adventure, spending a lot of his time in the mountains of Alberta and British Columbia exploring by any means of travel, hiking, biking, rock climbing, alpine touring, and snowboarding. I moved to Nelson in 2019 and never looked back.
